Terms of Service — Blog-Bot Cloud AI

Effective date: 2026-09-08 Service operator: itdatex, Rainer Neuenhausen Endpoint: https://api.itdatex.support/api/chat

These terms govern your use of the itdatex Cloud LLM endpoint accessed via the “itdatex Blog-Bot” WordPress plugin. By registering for an API key and enabling the itdatex Cloud provider in the plugin, you accept these terms.

1. What the service does

We accept requests conforming to the Ollama chat API on https://api.itdatex.support/api/chat, run them through a language model of our choice, and return the model’s response as JSON. The service is intended to be called by the itdatex Blog-Bot WordPress plugin; other uses of the same endpoint are permitted only if they respect the same rate limits and payload shape. The service is currently in a private beta — see §4 and §5.

2. Eligibility and account

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract in your jurisdiction.
  • You are responsible for the security of your API key. A leaked key is treated as your key until revoked. Revoke at https://wp.itdatex.support/blog-bot-api-key/ (self-service) or by emailing rainerneuenhausen@gmail.com.
  • One API key per WordPress site. Sharing a single key across multiple sites is not permitted and may trigger rate-limit blocks.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to:

  • Generate content that is illegal under German or EU law (incitement to hatred, illegal pornography, terrorism, defamation, targeted harassment).
  • Produce content that infringes third-party intellectual-property or personality rights.
  • Attempt to circumvent, degrade, or overload the service (denial-of-service, prompt-injection targeting our infrastructure, scraping the endpoint outside normal plugin usage).
  • Attempt to extract or reconstruct the underlying model weights.
  • Resell the service or expose it to third parties as your own API.

We reserve the right to revoke keys and block IPs that violate these rules, without prior notice, and without refund of any billed quota.

4. Rate limits and quotas

The service is currently in a private beta with no published rate limit. We monitor usage manually and will contact you if a key consumes disproportionately. We may throttle or suspend a key at any time to protect capacity for other beta users. Once the beta ends, we will publish quotas and, where applicable, paid-tier terms at https://wp.itdatex.support/blog-bot-api-key/.

5. Availability

The service is provided on a best-effort basis with no SLA and no availability guarantee, especially during the beta period. It may be taken down for maintenance, capacity work or model changes without prior notice. Downtime does not entitle you to a refund unless a written, signed paid-SLA explicitly says so.

6. Intellectual property

  • You retain ownership of the content you submit and of the rewritten output we return.
  • You are responsible for making sure your input does not infringe anyone else’s rights and for reviewing the output before publishing it.
  • Language-model output can contain factual errors, hallucinations, or unintentional copies of training data. The plugin publishes results as drafts precisely so a human can review them before publication. That review is your responsibility.

7. Disclaimer and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or reputation damage caused by publishing model output.
  • Our aggregate liability toward you for any claim relating to the service is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or, if you are on the free tier, at 100 EUR).
  • Nothing in these terms excludes liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life or health, or any liability that cannot be excluded under German law (BGB §309 Nr. 7).

8. Termination

  • You may terminate at any time by deleting your API key.
  • We may terminate at any time by revoking your API key, with 30 days’ notice for convenience or immediately for a material breach of §3.

9. Data protection

See the Privacy Policy at https://wp.itdatex.support/blog-bot-privacy/.

10. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The venue for disputes with merchants (Kaufleute) is Cologne, Germany. Consumers may also bring claims in their place of residence, as required by mandatory consumer law.

11. Changes

Material changes to these terms are announced at least 30 days in advance via email to the address on your API-key account. If you continue to use the service after the change takes effect, you accept the new terms. If you object, you may terminate under §8.
